Simon McNeny

Simon began climbing at A Lifetime fitness, he soon went off to college at Texas A&M where he really fell in love with the sport. Bouldering has been his passion since the start and he quickly pushed his limits at the gym. Living in Dallas limited his outdoor weekend trips to Austin and the occasional trips to Hueco Tanks and Horseshoe Canyon Ranch. HCR quickly became his favorite spot as well as where his 7 year project was until Spring of 2014 when he finally ticked off ‘Glass Bowl’ a hard V10 with a not so decent mono at the end. Simon continues to climb at his local gym Summit Dallas, where many people are pushing there limits and expanding the sport in our community. Evolv has been a part of Simon’s climbing since the beginning and he credits them for being the reason he has been able to continue climbing. He is excited for this year and hopes to push his climbing to new levels as well as be a role model for new climbers.
