Kegan Minock was born in Detroit and started climbing at the age of 12. Now living in Colorado Springs, Colorado, Kegan stays active in the climbing community as a Routesetter and Coach for Rock’n & Jam’n, a route developer, and a freelance Hold Shaper. A seasoned competition climber, Kegan has been on the podium at the Collegiate Climbing Series National Championships 3 times, competed at ABS Nationals, and has made finals in a handful of other competitions. During the past 6 years, he has focused his attention on bouldering, but every once in awhile, you might be able to catch him in a harness. His favorite areas to visit include Newlin Creek, Colorado, Joe’s Valley, and Clear Creek Canyon, Colorado. When he is not climbing, Kegan likes to spend time with his fiance, Tanika and her son. He also enjoys drawing, playing his guitar and going to comicon conventions.
