Jessa was born and raised in Colorado. Growing up living an outdoorsy lifestyle, she took to climbing naturally. Although she didn’t start climbing until she was 18 years old, now, she couldn’t imagine her life without it. She is constantly seeking out new bouldering, sport climbing and multi-pitch climbing. Jessa enjoys sharing her joy of climbing with others by teaching climbing training classes and coaching kids. When she is not climbing she enjoys hot yoga, camping, rafting, kayaking, riding horses and travelling.
Jessa still calls Colorado home, teaching mathematics at Colorado Mesa University and climbing the summers away.
Winter or Summer? Summer!!! Sunscreen, long days, warm sunny weather, BBQ’s what about summer isn’t amazing. Not to mention that being a teacher summer means vacation and more time to climb and pursue other passion like backpacking and travelling.
If you could learn to do anything, what would it be? If I could learn to do anything I would become a linguist. Languages are so fascinating and given the opportunity I would learn as many as I could. Starting with Italian.
If you won the lottery what’s the first thing you would do? Quit my day job and travel around the world climbing and exploring!
