Dalton Bunker

Dalton was born in Boise, ID and started rock climbing in 2011 at a local recreational center just before moving to Utah. After about one year of climbing it took over his life and since then he’s been traveling around frequently to compete and climb around the U.S. and International. Dalton mostly trains in Salt Lake City then on weekends he enjoys route climbing and bouldering in the states of Utah, Wyoming, California, and Nevada. His most recent accomplishments outdoors have been ‘The Bleeding” 5.14b in Moab, UT and “Slasher” V13 in Joe’s Valley, UT. In the competition scene he’s made the U.S team in bouldering for the last three years, placed 12th both in sport and bouldering adult nationals, and competed in the youth world championships in Arco, Italy. The diverse outgoing community is one of the main reasons Dalton was drawn into climbing and his obsession and commitment keeps him seeking to continue learning and growing as a climber. Outside of rock climbing Dalton sets routes at Momentum and the Quarry climbing gym’s and coaches the youth team at the Quarry.
