Matt is a climber, neuroscience researcher, and future MD/PhD student residing in Saint Louis, Missouri. After spending two years dedicating himself to college wrestling, he decided to follow a new dream and push his limits on rock. At home, you will find him training for the next big competition or finding a new hard problem to project. The only thing that gets him more psyched than pushing his limit is climbing hard with friends. Matt explains that he finds himself more inspired when he has helped push those around him. This goes with his love to travel. One of his favorite activities is traveling all over the country and spending time with locals, both in the gym and at the crag. His biggest climbing dream is to compete with the best and show that everyone has the potential to work hard, persevere, and succeed. If you’re heading to Saint Louis or just passing through, drop him a line and see what the Midwest has to offer.
