Ronnie Dickson

Ronnie had his left leg amputated above the knee. After his amputation, Ronnie found climbing and fell in love with the sport. He has dedicated himself to not only pursuing his own climbing endeavors but to helping other people with disabilities experience climbing through clinics nationwide. Ronnie has pushed the bar forward for adaptive climbing, placing second at the 2014 World Paraclimbing Championships and becoming the first above the knee amputee to boulder V9.

He hopes to crush his projects and send his first V10 this season, as well as fight for the title of world champion at the next world championships in 2016. Ronnie also serves on the USA Climbing Paraclimbing committee to grow adaptive competition climbing here in the United States.

Number one song played on your ipod? Something crunk

Lifetime climbing goals? Become the first above the knee amputee to climb V10

If you could learn to do anything, what would it be? Wiggle my left toes.
